Creative Code for the Web Intensive
Fall 2025 Class Exhibition
Over the course of 13 weeks, participants in Gray Area's Creative Code Intensive expanded their practice through experimental web design and computational art. Their works span nonlinear narrative, data visualization, and audio visual experiences. Collectively, their works examine themes of connection, isolation, and cultural identity through works created for the browser.

tiny worlds: a ritual for imagining future possibilities
Inspired by 90's KidPix and BIPOC traditions of small-scale freedom-making, Tiny Worlds treats drawing and imagination as future-making tools. Through world-building elements shaped by feminine aesthetics, ancestral technologies, and ecological worldviews, the game honors how our communities have always created — and continue to create — new possibilities through small gestures and the daring will to dream.
